How AI has made its way in My Blogging Journey: From complexity towards easy reading
While writing about the benefits of AI seems like a betrayal of sorts to the creative process of writing or any other creative endeavour for that matter. It has simplified writing for me and been an idea generator that has led to writing more engaging content.

Blogging has always been a way to express thoughts and ideas, but the process of turning raw ideas into well-structured, impactful posts can be exhausting. In my own journey as a blogger, there have been times when I felt bogged down by the effort needed to turn inspiration into something polished. However, with the arrival of AI tools like ChatGPT, everything changed for me. It has transformed my blogging process, making what once felt tedious into something far more efficient, productive, and enjoyable.
A Game-Changer in My Writing Workflow
My turning point came when I was writing a post for Studio-Ezee. The ideas were there, but the task of crafting, organizing, and refining them felt like it would take the whole day. That’s when I decided to give ChatGPT a try. I had heard about AI in writing but wasn’t fully aware of just how much it could help. To my surprise, it did more than assist—it became a key part of my creative process.
Using ChatGPT, I was able to input my core ideas—such as why custom templates for Boox devices are beneficial for people with unique organizational needs—and let the AI shape those thoughts into a coherent, well-organized post. The time it saved me was invaluable, but more than that, it helped refine my message in ways that I hadn’t expected. The AI would sometimes suggest perspectives I hadn’t considered, bringing depth to my content.
Of course, AI isn’t perfect. At times, it would include phrases that felt too robotic or overly used, words like “elevate your writing experience” in contexts that didn’t need that kind of drama. But with some adjustments and fine-tuning, I found a balance where AI could support my writing without overshadowing my voice. This process showed me how AI could transform the ordinary into something much better without taking away the personal touch that makes writing unique. And when you give ChatGPT enough input, they can even repeat thoughts from your earlier posts as though it were learning to think like you. Which is both amazing and scary at the same time.
From Average to Great: AI’s Role in Quality Writing
The statement “AI makes the average good, and the good great” truly resonated with my experience. Before using AI, writing felt like a grind, especially when it came to polishing and organizing my thoughts. But now, what used to feel average has become much more impactful, thanks to the way AI assists in bringing clarity and structure. Not that I think my posts have become great, but they have certainly become more engaging and colourful than if I would have written it on my own.
For instance, when I worked on posts about Boox templates, I had the main points I wanted to cover but wasn’t sure how to fully flesh them out. ChatGPT not only helped build on those ideas but also brought new angles and insights that I hadn’t previously thought of. Suddenly, the ideas I struggled to organize became clear, compelling, and more thoughtfully developed.
AI’s ability to help structure ideas makes a huge difference in the quality of writing. It’s not just about word choice or sentence structure; it’s about ensuring that the flow of the post makes sense and keeps the reader engaged. AI brings a level of consistency and organization that improves the overall quality of the content. This doesn’t mean that the writing is flawless from the get-go, but it certainly raises the bar, allowing me to focus on the more creative aspects of my work.
Blogging Is About Clarity
At the heart of blogging is clarity. The goal is to articulate your thoughts in a way that readers can understand, relate to, and be inspired by. Blogging isn’t just about writing words on a page—it’s about communicating ideas in a way that resonates. This is where AI has truly transformed my approach. It takes my initial thoughts, organizes them, and presents them clearly, ensuring that my posts are easy to follow and impactful.
When you write a blog post, it’s easy to get lost in the weeds—focusing on individual sentences, worrying about whether a phrase sounds right, or trying to make sure everything flows. But with AI, much of that heavy lifting is done for you. I can input a rough draft or even just bullet points of what I want to say, and AI helps shape that into something coherent and organized.
This has not only saved me time but also helped me maintain focus on the bigger picture. Rather than getting bogged down in the details, I can focus on ensuring that the core message of my post comes through. AI helps refine and clarify my ideas so that the essence of what I want to communicate is not lost in the process.
AI as a Creative Partner
The most exciting aspect of using AI in my blogging journey is that it feels like having a creative partner. It’s not just a tool to improve grammar or fix sentences; it’s a collaborator that offers new insights, fills in gaps in my thinking, and pushes me to explore ideas in ways I hadn’t considered.
There have been countless times when ChatGPT has surprised me by suggesting ideas or making connections between thoughts that I hadn’t initially planned. For example, in one post about note-taking systems, the AI expanded on my basic ideas and introduced a discussion on how customized templates could streamline workflows for different professions. It was something I had thought about but hadn’t figured out how to incorporate into the post. The AI brought it forward in a way that enriched the overall content.
This collaborative dynamic has made writing much more enjoyable for me. Instead of facing the blank page alone, I now feel like I have a partner that helps me explore ideas and take them further than I could have on my own. It’s this synergy that has transformed my writing process from something functional to something deeply creative.
Blogging for Growth and Self-Understanding
One of the intriguing insights I’ve gained through my experience with AI is that it’s not just a tool for better writing—it’s surprisingly become a tool for self-discovery. Blogging has always been a reflective practice for me, a way to clarify my thoughts and explore new ideas. But with AI, I’ve found that it also has this knack for leading me to insights that I hadn’t fully articulated yet.
When you input your raw ideas into ChatGPT, the AI organizes and clarifies them, often revealing unexpected connections or perspectives. It’s like having a mirror for your mind—a way to see your own thinking more clearly. This has been particularly helpful when writing about complex topics or trying to distill my thoughts on something new. AI helps me make sense of those thoughts and present them in a way that others can easily understand.
In this sense, AI has become more than just a writing assistant—it’s a tool for personal growth. By helping me better understand and articulate my own ideas, it allows me to engage in deeper reflection and exploration.
AI in Writing: Maximizing Efficiency Without Overreliance
Like any new tool, there’s always a temptation to overuse it. When I first got my Boox tablet, for example, I was excited to use it every day, thinking it would revolutionize my workflow. But after the initial excitement wore off, it became more of an extension of my existing process—a tool I use when I need it but not something that dominates my daily routine.
The same can be said for AI. It’s an incredible tool that can help streamline the writing process and improve the quality of your work, but it’s important not to rely on it too much. AI should complement your creativity, not replace it. It’s there when you need it to organize your thoughts, clarify your ideas, or polish your writing. But ultimately, the core of the work—the ideas and the creativity—still comes from you.
There’s also a risk of letting AI take over too much of the creative process, which can lead to writing that feels mechanical or detached. It’s important to strike a balance, using AI to enhance your writing without losing the personal touch that makes it uniquely yours.
The Golden Opportunity of AI in Blogging
The rise of AI represents a golden opportunity for writers and bloggers. It offers tools that can help us write faster, more clearly, and with greater impact. It would be a shame not to use these resources to improve our craft. AI allows us to keep our writing professional, organized, and accessible, without sacrificing the human touch that makes our work meaningful. Any tool that helps us improve is worth using.
For me, ChatGPT has been exactly that! It has streamlined my writing process and made my blog posts more engaging. Whether you’re a seasoned blogger or someone just starting out, AI can offer the support you need to take your writing to the next level.
In the end, AI isn’t something to be feared or avoided—it’s a tool that can help us make the most of our creative potential. By embracing it, we can write more effectively, communicate more clearly, and connect with our readers in deeper, more meaningful ways. Not forgetting that we then have more time to spend with the people who truly matter in our lives. AI doesn’t replace human creativity; it enhances it, helping us turn average writing into something great. The future of blogging is bright, and AI is here to help us make the most of it.
